ABOUT

I have been running joe hill fitness in Mt Eliza since 2015. I am very proud to have helped hundreds of people over the years become stronger, fitter and healthier within a really positive and enjoyable environment. They say when you love your job it never feels like work; and it’s true, I have loved every minute of it!

My fitness background started in sport, mainly hockey and tennis. Over the past 30 years, I have been involved as a player and coach in both the UK and Australia, playing state and national league level tennis and hockey. I was a Head Tennis Coach in the UK. In Australia I have worked as a hockey coach for Junior Development, Rep Level and State League Men’s and Women’s teams. I was fortunate enough to experience the joy of seeing youngsters play hockey for the very first time, while also accepting the challenge of coaching, managing and motivating Senior Australian Representatives.

From this point in my life, it seemed like a natural progression to start my own fitness business. I set up joe hill fitness wanting to provide fun, support and variety for all my clients. My areas of expertise include:

  • Clients recovering from injury

  • Anyone wanting to get fit and enjoy exercise

I am a qualified Cert 3 & 4 Fitness Instructor and a Registered Exercise Fitness Professional with Fitness Australia. Additionally, I have completed numerous courses to continually update my fitness knowledge. These areas include:
